Making of a strong marriage--poem

When my wife and were dating
We agreed on wifely 
With that agreement we wed
Knowing divorce was dead

After the wedding we went
To a place where we spent
Time for my lover to learn
Husbands make s burn

This all happened year ago
And now our relatives know
Ours lasted more than most
But still we do not boast

Instead we just stay together
Much like bird of a feather
We’ve weathered many a storm
With my wife’s bottom warm
